Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) is providing 25 fellowships over the next three years in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo to help TMMC to commemorate 20 years of success and corporate leadership in the Waterloo Region. These awards, valued at $10,000 each will be awarded to graduate students entering a full time MASc or PhD program at the University of Waterloo who are planning to pursue automotive-related research. The targeted research areas for this fellowship are (1) Automotive Sensors and Actuators, (2) Telematics, Telehealth and Infotronics, (3) Vehicle Stability and Control, (4) Improved Occupant Protection Systems. Applications of students with exceptional records of academic/industrial achievements interested in other areas of automotive research will be considered on a case by case basis.
